<description>hi jason i,m a teacher a school of jazz in portugal, i play electric bass and guitar, but I am studying the double bass that I love.
And like to know the best method to study the double bass (F. Simandl or F. Rabbath) and can advise me what books I need to buy to study the double bass for the technique.the books I buy are thought F. Simandle I-II, George Vance-Vade Mecum, and F. Rabbath-Nouvelle Technique de la contrebasse I-III.
I got Eugene Levinson Agility of the school, but wanted to know if you think it takes a book to buy more scales and arpejos.
I do not know if I should study F. Simandle or George Vance (Rabbath). Please tell me is what you think.
I am obliged to wait for your answer.
