Britney Spears Fugue

This is a clever video created by Danielpi that I just discovered on YouTube. He takes Britney Spears’ “Oops…I did it again” and turns it into a fugue. He made it for a class project, and it is very cleverly done. I especially like the middle section where he has multiple shots of himself describing the fugue at the same time. It’s a great way to describe a fugue. The fugue sounds like some of what John Bayless does on Bach on Abbey Road.

Nice one, Jason. :D But I’ll have to look into fugues more to understand the video better.

Thanks, Dan. Fugues are complex canons, so I thought it was clever that the guy layered himself while talking just like the music. Plus, I can’t stand Britney Spears.
