Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 is one of the most frequently requested pieces for orchestral auditions. At least 75% of all auditions I have taken required this piece, and I have spent countless hours in the practice room working on it. Justin Cormia, one of my University of Wisconsin – Whitewater double bass students, recently sent me a link to this awesome video of a guy on skates playing some Mozart in an interesting way. Any musician will appreciate it, and any bassist will really appreciate it:
