Yesterday I clicked the big blue button I had been staring at for the last few weeks in my Blogger Dashboard and switched to Blogger Beta. I am loving it so far. I have written two previous posts comparing Blogger Beta to other platforms. You can check them out here and here.
Google bought Blogger from Pyra Labs in 2003, and it did very little to upgrade it since then (other than adding Google AdSense functionality into each blog). Since August, however, Google has done some major upgrading to the system, and it is now on par with other Google services such as Gmail and Google Docs and Spreadsheets. If you have ever used Gmail you will feel right at home in the new Blogger Beta.
I will be tweaking this blog’s interface over the next few weeks, but I am so far extremely happy with the new service. Also, it is now (finally) compatible with Internet Explorer. I have yet to check it with Opera, but I hope that it will work in that browser as well.

I clicked the button, and wish I hadn’t.
They promised all the original features would still be there, but if they are, I can’t find them. No “Blog this”, No “Search all blogs”
I am lost….I don’t now how to switch to Blogger Beta, safely, without losing the contents on my current Blogger Blog.
Would you care to advise please?
