I have crates of old photos from various trips I have made in the past. Putting together my recent story on Burak prompted me to scan in a set of photos from my Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival trip, and I thought I’d share some more of these shots. These were all taken with a regular film camera many years ago, and I needed to touch most of the up in Photoshop to fix colors and brightness issues. Still, I think that I got some good shots on this trip.

Here are some shots from a church spire in Freiburg, a beautiful German town on the southern edge of the Black Forest:

Here’s a picture of Burak lost in thought on top of that tower. Notice the interesting rock formation behind him:

It would be a bad idea to throw anything from that tower:

There is so much beautiful architecture in Germany. These are more shots of Freiburg (from the ground this time), which was by far the most beautiful city we visited.

Most of our time in Germany was spent in northern Germany. The town of Lubeck was quite charming. These gates are very recognizable Lubeck landmarks:

We also played in Amsterdam and Copenhagen at the Tivoli and at the Concertgebouw:

We also played in Hamburg:

You can find all of my Germany photos here, and all 3300 of my photos here (I keep all of my stuff on Flickr).
