Hundreds of Double Bass MP3 Practice Tracks Now Available for Download

I have finally organized my MP3 practice tracks for double bass scales, solo works, and orchestral excerpts for the double bass. You can now view all of these tracks under the practice tracks tab at the top of the page. From this page you can either practice with the Flash player on the screen or else right-click the title to download any track.

Currently I have all 1, 2, and 3 major, natural minor, harmonic minor, and melodic minor scales plus a lot of solo repertoire including concertos by Capuzzi, Dittersdorf, Dragonetti, and Capuzzi, the Monti Czardas, the Bottesini Elegy, the Eccles Sonata, and much more.

I also have a lot of orchestral excerpts including major excerpts from Beethoven, Mozart, and Haydn Symphonies, tone poems by Richard Strauss, major orchestral solos, and much more. The Verdi Otello soli, Ginastera Variaciones solo and Prokofiev Romeo and Juliet soli are among the tracks available here.

I have had these file on the Odeo servers for about six months now. Although it was very complicated to get to these files I have noticed that some of them have already been played several hundred times. Hopefully this new navigation system within my actual blog will make these files more accessible and usable for teachers and students.
