I have quit my teaching job at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, but the Bassfest that I started five years ago still lives on. Scott Kreger, the new double bass instructor at UWW, will be continuing the festival, and he is having me back this year as a clinician. Scott is a double bassist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and he will really be a great asset to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater School of Music.
The date for the 2007 Whitewater Winter Bassfest will be Saturday, February 17 in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
