Beautiful shot of Chicago’s Millennium Park
Here is a great photo I recently found poking around on Flickr. It is a shot of Frank Gehry’s Pritzker Pavillion of Millennium Park in Chicago. I can’t tell which ensemble is performing in this shot.

Hi Jason,
That’s the resident group of Millennium Park in the photo–The Grant Park Orchestra. That picture was taken on the final GPO concert of 2005–WTTW’s 50th anniversary celebration, broadcast live in August. (Check out Joe Mantagna at the bottom left hand corner, plus the television camera up front.)

Thanks! I figured it was the Grant Park Orchestra playing, but I wasn’t totally sure.
