OK–this video is really astounding. It is long (12 minutes), and a little dry for the first seven minutes. But hang in there, because right at the seven minute mark the video goes from cheezy to possibly the greatest thing I have ever seen. Fast forward to the seven minute mark if you must, but it is even funnier if you watch it from the beginning. The video as been getting a lot of hits, so it may load slowly, but it will eventually come up.

At the core of Geek culture is the nostalgiac humor of obsolete technology. You, my friend, qualify to be cast in “Revenge of the Nerds VIII.”
I take that as high praise–I love to be classified as a geek. Isn’t that a hilarious video?
John Ford, Terence Malik, Werner Herzog, Fritz Lang, and Orson Wells. These are just a few directors who have been made obsolete by the shining beacon of cinematic art, “Windows 386”. David Vik not only synthesizes all previous filmaking philosophies, he also transcends them. The transformation of a schoolmarmish office worker into a dancing, leg warmer clad rapper and back expresses humanity’s struggle for meaning. The mysterious date with the Microsoft salesman is not shown, leaving the audience wondering about the mystery. Let’s not forget the fiendishly ingeninous rapping, which leaves LL Cool J and his kind in the dust. A filmaking triumph which demands repeated viewings.

It certainly is a triumph in something.
without a doubt, the best rap to ever come out of eighties!
What must Microsoft have been thinking with this one?
