New URL for my blog

I am out the door to Memphis, so I can’t put out my usual posts until after rehearsal tonight. You’ll be hearing from me today, just not until the evening hours. Before I take off, I just want to direct people’s attention to my new URL, which is http://doublebassblog.com. Now, the cool thing about the way I had this set up is that ALL current links to my blog or to any post within my blog will still get you here, so if you’re linking to me, don’t worry about changing the link from http://jasonheath.blogspot.com to http://doublebassblog.com.

I’ll describe more fully how I’ve got this set up for interested folks–it is a really cool feature that Google is offering. I am not going to (supposedly) lose any of my “Google juice” by making this move, and it should be a seamless transition to the new URL.

At the moment www.doublebassblog.com isn’t directing you to my my blog, only doublebassblog.com, but I’ve got the CNAME info entered, so hopefully that will also work soon.
