		<description>Isn&#039;t that a great piece?  It&#039;s great that this was the one piece that made you pursue the double bass and a music career.  I played the Tarantella on a recital in college, and I remember sweating bullets trying to get ready for the performance.</description>

		<description>Wow! I really enjoyed that. Gliere&#039;s tarantella was the piece that made me drop everything in high school and decide to major in music (double bass performance). I had a teacher who gave me a solid foundation, but I was never really exposed to the solo repertoire (beyond Vivaldi sonatas) until I heard Duncan McTier&#039;s recording of this on the radio one night. If I had never heard that piece, I would probably be sitting at my desk in an architecture firm somewhere drawing floor plans.</description>
