Blog Housekeeping Shortlist
Just a couple of quick items for this Monday morning blog session:
- I could definitely use some more double bass tracks for the Virtual Master Class project. If you have any recordings of yourself playing double bass solos and excerpts please e-mail them to me at jsh177@yahoo.com. - I am always adding new double bass methods, solos, and other resources to the Bass Blog Sheet Music Store. Check out the wares by clicking here. Any purchases help to support the blog and podcast and make improvement to both of these projects possible.
- I will be putting out another Contrabass Conversations Recital Showcase later this week. This episode will feature a recent full-length recital from Civic Orchestra of Chicago bass section member Peter Lawson. Pete was briefly featured on Contrabass Conversations Episode 2, and I think that folks will really enjoy this interesting recital. You’ll be hearing music by Gubaidulina, Bach, Eccles, and Bottesini on this episode.
