François Rabbath performs at Ball State University
Here is a short clip of bass soloist and recent Contrabass Conversations guest François Rabbath performing Le Cri during Recital Hour. This performance occurred a few days before François did the interview for Contrabass Conversations, and it is great to hear him play this piece.

Jason, Ibérique Peninsular is one of my favorite works for solo bass, and it was a great pleasure to study it with François. However, I don’t think that this is the same piece. But who cares- what a sound!

This piece is actually called “Le Cri”.
