Bassist and PlayJazzNow.com founder Bill Harrison just started a blog called Jazz Underneath, and it is already turning into quite a resource. One of his recent posts highlights beautiful jazz-themed paintings by New Orleans painter Ann deLorge. The work to the left is called Jazz in Red.
Visit Bill’s blog post for more of these extremely cool paintings, and check out Ann’s site as well. She offers prints of her works for very reasonable prices, and she also features a number of New Orleans-themed paintings and prints as well.
I’ve also added Bill’s blog to my Music Blogs section in the sidebar. Be sure and visit his site when you get a chance–I’m very interested to see how it develops.
