the only problem is that Guy Tuneh didnt even know W. Guettler in that time, this video was made two years before Tuneh got to know Guettler in personal.!!

I got to see Mr. Tuneh in concert with ENSENBLE-MODERN (the same Ensemble to performe with the great Frank zapa…)
last week, its crazy, this guy is outstanding by all means.
its the first time that I could really understand and even enjoy Modern-music!!
Mr. Tuneh was the center of this ensemble in that piece, for a bass-player its very special!.

Imagine,

Meyer & Tuneh played this Duo as Students in the “Villa Musica”
in Germany, even before they finished the first Diploma.

In the same concert played also: Prof. Ulf Rodenhäuser (Ex Solo Clarinet of the Berlin Philharmonic), Matthias Racz (Solo Bassoon
in the same orchestra that Roman Patkolò is today in swizerland).

The Reviews went untill the sky, no other student/Prof. in the “Villa Musica” got ever such review like Guy Tuneh got after this Concert.
Mr. Tuneh still getting great reviews!.
however,
Meyer came as a Fresh student to Geringas’s class in Berlin and tuneh was before finishing his Berlin Diplom (he performed this concert without Barbara Sanderling knew about!).

AMAZING how two people got Great performance that in many ways is a simble for a Genius Rossini Duo that make a wave of so much young and “old” performance who performe this peace again.
Looking at Youtube, after this Video was Posted, came a wave
of so many “Rossini Duos”, like a motivation portion!.

Its impassible!

Guy Tuneh played this Duo much before he has been a student of W. Güttler.
This Video is from 2005! (according to Mr. Tuneh’s official website).
Tuneh started to work with Güttler in the middle of 2006 (Güttler was his “Teacher” in a very special studies: Solo
Artist Study, only 4 people get this chance in 6 Years, and as you can imagine Jason, bass players should not get it, But he got it, and it is clear why!)
so, Tuneh got to know Güttler one and half years after this video have been done.

But just in case thank you for this worldwide unique Video!
