This video features a performance of the second movement of the Rossini Duetto for Cello and Bass. Guy Tuneh was a former pupil of Professor B. Sanderling in Berlin, and he currently studies with Wolfgang Güttler in Basel. I have worked with Güttler in the past, and I can see a lot of his playing in Guy Tuneh’s performance. What an artist! Guy is such a sensitive bassist, and it is a real pleasure to hear them interpret this piece.
