Guy Tuneh plays La Sonnambula by Bottesini

This is an excellent video featuring Guy Tuneh performing the La Sonnambula variations by Bottesini. Wolfgang Kind accompanies Mr. Tuneh on piano. Mr. Tuneh and I have been in touch, and I plan on featuring him on a future episode of Contrabass Conversations!

May I ask what that is in the top of his E side F hole?

It looks like he’s left a Dampit (bass humidifier) in there. Mine always buzz if I leave them in while playing, but they don’t buzz for a lot of people.
