I just did a great interview with Pittsburgh Symphony Principal Bassist Jeff Turner yesterday for Contrabass Conversations. I think that folks will really get a lot of this interview, and I really enjoyed the opportunity to get to sit down wit Jeff and learn his perspectives on the bass and the orchestra business.

This weekend I will be putting out an interview with Chicago Symphony Orchestra bassist Rob Kassinger. Rob has had a very interesting career before and during his time with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and I know that people will really enjoy this interview. You will also get a chance to hear Rob play the bass in a few different musical contexts.
