David Anderson Bass Sonata video

This is a video of bassist Anna Du performing David Anderson’s bass sonata. I actually found a link to this on Dave’s YouTube page, so he must be a fan of the interpretation! If you’re interested in checking out more of Dave’s music, check out John Grillo’s Recital Showcase (featuring all seven of his double bass duets) or this video of bassist Gaelen performing Kibbles and Kibitz from the duets.

Go Dave! I’m currently studying under him at Loyola New Orleans, hopefully I can get to this peice eventually, it seems pretty difficult. Its great to see all these people recording his music, he’s written a lot and its all high calibur.
