The poll results about the educational background of readers are in for last week, and here are the results:

I never know what to expect with these polls, and the results are always interesting. For example, more people read this blog with doctoral degrees in fields outside of music than do people with doctoral degrees in music. As one can see, the numbers show that most readers are undergraduates or masters students in music, with high school students coming in third.

Since it’s the summer (and only a portion of readers participate in this poll), it would be interesting to see if the numbers skewed any differently in, say, October. We’ll see.
