New stories and articles starting this week

I have been working on several new gig stories and music-related articles this summer, and I will be putting out the next part in my series Basses, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles tomorrow. I will basically be putting out a new article or story each week, and I’ll probably alternate each week, with a ‘heavier’ article one week and a lighter story the next.

I didn’t write much long-form material on my blog until December of 2006, but it has definitely become one of my favorite activities. If the results of my Bass Blog Poll in the sidebar are any indication, it is one of the things that readers like the most on the blog as well, which is great to hear.

I have written nearly 50 longer-form pieces on the blog, and if you ever feel like browsing them, just click on the articles link below the Contrabass Conversations banner for a list and short synopsis of this material.

Also, if you ever want to submit a story idea, just click on the ’suggest a story’ link in the upper left hand corner of the blog. I’ll put it up and give you credit (plus lots of link love for your website or other projects).
