    I certainly hope that the final shot was made as a montage! I wouldn’t like to see a bass actually damaged by the tide (that’s the flut: not an English or American flutists arriving without an “e.”)

    The song is about a jazzdoublebassplayer who´s going to suicid himself becaus he see that hís profession is to be a Jazzdoublebassplayer. He´s not a doctor, not a hair stylist, not …..
    So he goes deep in the wadden sea waiting for the flood to make a stylish suicid. But even there a somebody says: you better learn to play harp. So he knocks him down, stands on him and plays harp for him, waiting for the flood.
