EveryZing, the podcast speech to text service that I use to archive Contrabass Conversations content, is really amazing. This is the kind of thing that makes podcasts really amazing, and it is what makes the podcast such a useful and dynamic resource. Type a key phrase into the search box in the sidebar, and you’ll find every instance of this phrase. You can instantly start playing the track (no loading time), and you can select a full transcript of the text from every episode, with the ability to click on any word and instantly start playing it.
At the same time, the actual text that is transcribed can be hilariously wacky. It does a good enough job to pull a lot of keywords, but actually reading some paragraphs of transcribed text can make a person roll around on the floor laughing.
