My friend and fellow IRIS ORchestra musician Josh Nemith just put out a post on his Cincinnati Pianist Blog about an upcoming performance of George Crumb’s Ancient Voices of Children, complete with photos of himself demonstrating all the various inside-the-piano plucking gestures required from this piece and a short YouTube video demonstrating these techniques. Great stuff from a great blogger! You can check this post out here.
