The short Contrabass Conversations video episodes (featuring Guy Tuneh, Ranaan Meyer, and Miloslav Gajdos thus far) that we’ve been putting together over the last few months have proven to be very popular, and we’ve got a lot more of them coming to you shortly. There episodes are a lot of fun to put together. They’re short–only a few minutes long for each episode–so they can go on YouTube as well as the podcast feed clogging things up. They’re a perfect way for people to get a short “bass fix” without devoting the 30-45 minutes required for a full podcast episode. Of course, my hope is that people will see these episodes and then go listen to the full episodes!

Anyway, Ranaan Meyer, the outstanding bassist from Time for Three, will be featured on a tune he composed called “I’m Tryin'”, and we’ve got some more great footage featuring Czech virtuoso Miloslav Gajdos.
