Mike Laconte tears it up slap-style on King Double Bass

This video is perfect NAMM show material.  Micke Laconte of The Blind Pharohs plays some smokin’ slap lines on this video.  Although you’d better have your head examined if you want to use a King for orchestral music, they’re great for rockabilly.  From the 2004 NAMM show:
