Rob Kassinger (Chicago Symphony Orchestra bassist DePaul University faculty member) will be performing the Bottesini Concerto in b minor with the DePaul Chamber Orchestra this November. If you are able to make it, definitely check out this performance–it is a rare local opportunity to hear a great double bassist perform a great piece with a great orchestra.
Rob has been a guest on the Contrabass Conversations podcast, and you can visit his show page to check out our interview and hear Rob play some double bass. Listeners can think of this episode as a great prelude to his Bottesini performance in November.
