New installment of This Crazy Business tomorrow

I’m on my eighth cup of coffee right now as I sit perched over the Steppenwolf Theatre on the north side of Chicago, working on blog projects, podcasts, videos, and some interesting new behind-the-scenes goodies. I’m also putting the finishing touches on the seventh installment of This Crazy Business, my current set of loosely-related articles about the psychology of the performing musician. Check out the series here (you can read any of the dozens of blog articles here).

I’ve also been doing a whole lot of work on the Bass Blog and Contrabass Conversations CafePress Store. I’m adding some fun products for the holiday season, including “Bass Addict” hats and buttons, plus some new T-shirt designs. I’ve still got a bit of work to do on this site (including totally revamping the store interface and integrating it into the blog and podcast websites), but you can check out the early stages of this revamp at www.cafepress.com/doublebass.
