Vienna Vegetable Orchestra
My wife Courtney just told me about this amazing video on YouTube. Anyone out there heard of the Vienna Vegetable Orchestra? I hadn’t until about 10 minutes ago. This group….well….the name pretty much says it all. They create their own instruments (wind and percussion) entirely out of vegetables. This video starts with the vegetable selection process and moves into instrument creation and performance. Amazing! Check it out, and check out their website at www.gemueseorchester.org.

I have attended a concert by the Vienna Vegetable Orchestra when they performed in Singapore last year. Interesting performance, and the whole concert hall had the smell of vegetables throughout the concert.
I never knew vegetables could make such nice sound.
