Here is a video from Greek double bassist Haris Pazaroulas of the third movement of the Koussevitzky Concerto with the Ionian University Orchestra. This performance was conducted by Phaedra Giannelou earlier this year. Folks unfamiliar with the third movement of this concerto will probably notice that begins as a carbon copy of the first movement, only diverging after many measures into the final movement.
By the way, there are a lot of heated YouTube comments about this video, which is not surprising if (like me) you spend a lot of time poking around that site in search of interesting videos. The YouTube community is filled with folks who like to leave snarky comments, and this video doesn’t escape the wrath of these sort of comments.
