Heading to Dallas for ISB Board Meeting

I am taking off tomorrow for a board meeting for the International Society of Bassists, and I can’t wait to get out of this frigid cold and into a more moderate climate.  The high for Dallas is over 70 degrees Fahrenheit during my time there–a welcome change from the sub-zero temperatures we’ve been having here in Chicago.

The beauty of using WordPress to manage this blog is that I’ve already created posts for the entire time I’ll be in Dallas, with two short podcast episodes to boot!  The blog will automatically post new items even if I can’t get online, which is very cool.  We’re featuring two short Contrabass Conversations podcasts this weekend.  One will feature Jerry Fuller of ArsAntiguaPresents.com interviewing me, and the other will feature a brief reflection on one year of podcasting and goals for the show in 2008.

A new gig story will launch tomorrow morning as I’m boarding a plane, so stay tuned for that, and check out some of our new offerings at www.artsaddict.com and www.contrabassconversations.com as well as our new posts here in the meantime.
