Jason Heath’s Double Bass Blog

The Arizona Bass Players Festival and Workshop will be held March 6-9, 2008 at Arizona State University in Tuscon, Arizona.  This festival will feature clinicians Rob Kassonger (also a former Contrabass Conversations guest), Catalin Rotaru, Rufus Reid, Joe DiBartolo, Miloslav Jelinek,, and Patrick Neher.

The Festival is open to the public and Members of ABP get a 20% discount on participant fees. There are no age, performance level, or instrument restrictions on participation/attendance. More information here.

    Don Robertson and Sons Violin Shop in Albuquerque are the main corporate sponsor for the Festival and a solo double bass competition for ages 16 - 23. More information here.
