Guy Tuneh’s new website!

Double bassist and Contrabass Conversations guest Guy Tuneh just rolled out a great new redesigned website.  Guy is a rising star in the double bass and classical music community, galvanizing audiences internationally as a soloist under the baton of Daniel Barenboim, in collaboration with Miloslav Gajdos, and in chamber settings with Villa Musica.

We have featured Guy as an audio interview guest on the Contrabass Conversations podcast, and we have also featured numerous video performances of Guy in solo and chamber music settings.  Many of these videos are available for download through our free podcast subscription feed.

Check out Guy’s wonderful new website at www.guytuneh.com, where you can find more information about his background, upcoming performances, and his excellent new bow case designed for the working double bassist.  It’s got lots of pockets and extra padding, and I highly recommend it to any bassist looking for a top-notch new bow case.

I was at the evening in Basel, Tuneh played this Rococo realy good. i was near the camera.
it changed my life, because my brother playes the bass, i could never believe that bass can play it,and so good!.As a Cello player i was just shoked!!
the sound quality of that video (the one in YouTube, you hear only echo!) is bad, at the hall it was realy good.
Its Amazing that great Artist like Mr. Tuneh
took the time to sit with some cello players and to ask them more about the pease, to learn more from them.i had the chance to change ideas with him, as a Cello player to Bass Player…
and it was like to speak with an Extra Good Cello player… (he had some Fantastic Ideas wich can not be seen in that video).
So Yes, he is, AMAZING BASSIST!!
Mr. Heath every of your word are true.
