New podcast from Jerry Fuller and ArsAntiguaPresents.com

The second episode of ArsAntiguaPresents.com launched over the weekend.  This monthly podcast series features performances of early music from the Ars Antigua ensemble, directed by double bassist Jerry Fuller.  Jerry recently interviewed me for the Contrabass Conversations podcast about my experiences playing early music with a contemporary double bass set-up.

Visit the ArsAntiguaPresents.com website for more information on this new podcast.  Subscribing is free, and this is a great chance to hear high quality early music performances and learn more about the role of the double bass in period performance.

Doublebassblog.org actually has a subsection of the site devoted to early music.  It is managed by gambist and bassist Phillip Serna (also a regular Contrabass Conversations collaborator) and can be found at doublebassblog.org/features/early-bass.
