When I was at the Arts Presenters conference in January I overheard people on no less than 5 occasions express a sentiment along the lines of “If only we could figure out how to use text messaging to promote our shows.” How about Twitter? Twitter rocks.

Doesn’t matter if Twitter is cool or not, just try to make up a text message promoting a Shostakovich concert by your favorite symphony giving time, place and contact number in less than 160 characters and with abbreviations most can understand.
