Franco Petracchi performs Bottesini Tarantella

    It’s possible to listen to this so marvellous performance also on YouTube. But here it’s better!!!

    where Petracchi plays “Alla marcia” by Nino Rota (Divertimento Concertante) during a perfomance in Japan some years ago.

    One thing: a lot of italian important composers have written for Maestro Petracchi a lot of music for double bass. I remember “Sconcerto”, one of my favourite (written by the great Armando Trovajoli).
