The Fabulous ButtCradle

Ashley Eidbo from buttcradle.com makes, hands down, the best double bass stool covers. You have to try it to believe it–I love it!

This stool cover has extremely thick padding that provides great support. I’m used to using either cheesy thin pads or the bare wooden stool top, and neither of those options is very comfy. Putting the cover on works best with two people (I stood on top of the stool to compress the foam while my wife Courtney tied the cover on), and once it’s on, you’ll find it extraordinarily comfortable. It’s now on my main gig stool, and I’ll be looking forward to many years of comfort on this awesome stool cover. I highly recommend checking it out!

Hey Jason, the day before I went back to IU I broke my Lemur stool. I went to target to get a stool, and then had a lesson with Peter Lloyd who happened to have one extra ButtCradle. I can honestly say it is the best thing to happen to sitting and would recommend it to anyone.
