Intonation is not perfect !!!
The ascending scales are not in tune. This solo needs to be lighter, more playful – right now it sounds too much like an aria.
Sounds great! There aren’t many recordings of this piece, but all that I’ve heard are a good bit slower. I’ve heard this movement described as more “stately.” Hope that helps.
This is a decent performance with good clarity. I teach (and play) this solo 90% in thumb position. There are only a few notes which need to go back down the neck, the last bars in particular.
Try it that way…it’s easier!

Whats wrong with you guys, be like the “German way to make music”- everything is in a “Box”!, i dont see any problem to play it like aria!
this is a good performance, Its Profi. tone quality, its not a student!
some little things but its because of the coordination of the right hand, its a bit to fast its not calm.
I dont think that he hear the whole Harmony of this pease.
Very good. Good feel. There was a disruption in the rhythm towards the end, but that was the only major thing. Yes, the “intonation was not perfect” but I thought it was generally very good except for a few isolated spots. I’d bet that if David ever records himself that he would realize that his intonation isn’t perfect either.
Overall, not bad. You rushed a bid at the end of the first phrase. Musically, it seemed a bit heavy for this style, but more importantly, also lacked the antecedent-concequence style of the Classical period. Dynamics (which were somewhat lacking), would help you greately in this area. Bring out the three distinct parts of the solo (1-17, 18-26, 27-end–that’s how I hear it, anyway) The ending seemed to slow a bit, which was odd. This material is a short solo among many, so you may have to hold back on your interpration.
Great tone Quality! Rythem very solid. On the Ascending scales think lower and on the descending scales think higher.
Pressing too much. Ease up. It should sound pleasing, more graceful.
