My friend Kells Nollenberger guest interviewed Steve Rodby for Contrabass Conversations in 2007, and this has ended up being one of our most popular interviews. Not only has Steve played bass for the Pat Metheny Group (playing on every record since 1980), but he co-produced the group’s last five albums, winning 10 Grammy Awards along the way.
