Duquesne University features bass teachers Micah Howard and Jeff Turner. Jeff Turner is the Principal Bass for the Pittsburgh Symphony and is also a former Contrabass Conversations guest, and this video features a student of Duquesne performing the Rachmaninoff Vocalise on his Junior recital:

    Very nice but one thing I noticed was that his bow arm never really straitened out completely and the end of a long down bow into the beginning of an up looked stiff and kind of awkward. Is this just the way his playing is or is this something that should be worked on?
