We have a fall audition in about two weeks to fill some spots in the orchestra. The audition is Thursday, Aug. 27, with IMEA audition repertoire. The orchestra meets on Sundays (starting Sept. 13) from 2-4:30pm and performs professional-level repertoire (tentatively scheduled for fall: Glinka’s “Ruslan and Ludmilla” overture, Schubert “Unfinished,” 1st mvt, Stravinsky “Berceuse and Finale,” Verdi “La Forza del Destino” overture, and possibly Copland’s “Appalachian Spring” in the original 13-instrument version.)
