Not to beat a dead horse, but I happened to notice with some amusement that a Google search of the phrase “Northwestern University School of Music” comes up with my post titled Northwestern’s School of Music is Falling Apart… Literally! on the first page of results. Search for “Northwestern music building” and my snarky (but true!) photographic essay about my beloved alma mater comes up second. Ha!
Every time I write anything about good old NU, I seem to get a deluge of nasty comments directed my way. There’s a new music building in the works that looks to be a humongous upgrade (to be completed in the next few years), yet I can’t help but think that maybe a few of those details evident in my photo essay from a couple of years ago could be addressed in the interim. After all, tuition is how much….?
