I was recently reading Chicago Jazz Magazine and came across the following very cool column featuring jazz bassist Kelly Sill, who teaches at DePaul University and is a major force on the jazz scene here in Chicago. It’s a “blow-by-blow” of Kelly’s impressions of a new track from John Scofield and is a very cool way to get a jazz veteran’s take on what he’s hearing at any given moment. Check it out!
