Here’s a great video I found on Jonas Lohse’s Double Bass Guide (great site that I check regularly, by the way). What a player, and what a singer! I’ve listened to Esperanza on MySpace many times in the past, and it’s great to see this video of her playing the bass.

Here’s a great video of a veteran jazz trio in top form. I can’t help but be reminded of Keith’s crazy rant against fans recording segments of his concert on their cell phones, but I still love these guys.

Here’s a great video of the German double bass ensemble Bassiona Amorosa (www.bassiona-amorosa.de) performing a Ludwig Streicher arrangement of Bottesini’s Carnival de Venice. I just found a whole slew of new videos featuring this ensemble, and I’ll be posting them regularly over the next few days.
