I had the pleasure of being a teacher and performer for the XII Encuentro Latinoamericano de Contrabajos, which took place in Tijuana, Mexico from October 28 – November 2, 2017.

3rd Central American Bass Festival in Guatemala and Masterclasses with Concert in Tegucigalpa/Honduras – A trip into a mysterious world – by Claus Freudenstein
It is August 8th 2017, when I start my trip to Guatemala and Honduras. I´m invited to perform and to teach at the Central American Bass Festival in Antigua/Guatemala and at the Conservatory of Tegucigalpa/Honduras.
What an amazing week it has been here at the 2017 International Bradetich Competition! I spent the whole week soaking up the music from these talented contestants, and I left the event feeling inspired and energized.

A History of the Golden Gate Bass Camp
This camp was founded by Barry Green when he moved to the Bay Area in the 1990s, and it has continued to evolve over the years. It was located in the North Bay and East Bay before its present location at the Drew School in San Francisco.
