I am a recently transplanted double bass teacher from Los Angeles with roughly fifteen years of teaching and playing experience.

In the few years since moving to Philly I’ve performed with the Delaware Symphony, The Haddonfield Symphony, and the Curtis Symphony Orchestra. I’m currently on staff at the Curtis Institute of Music and the Community Music School in Trappe. I’m hoping to expand my teaching studio, which currently has nine students.

In Southern California I performed with major orchestras throughout the region, and I studied at the USC Thornton School of Music with Nico Abondolo and Dennis Trembly.

I teach mainly classical studies, but I have a background in jazz, blues, rock, and bluegrass if that is more to your liking. I play both French bow and German bow. I accept all levels, from beginners up to advanced students.
