I just found this offer poking around on Digg. It looks legitimate, but you may be dooming yourself to endless catalogues and the like. Sun will send you a free 512 MB thumb drive if you provide them with an address. Visit the site here or click the banner above to [...]
I am down in Memphis, Tennessee right now preparing for a concert tomorrow night with the IRIS Chamber Orchestra. I have been a member of this fantastic ensemble since its inception seven seasons ago, and I am having a great time preparing for the first concert of this 2006-2007 season.
This concert features violin soloists [...]
Drew McManus recently wrote in his blog Adaptistration about the best (and worst) websites of 2006. Check out his complete list of the worst websites here. Check it out–it is a fascinating read. It is amazing to see some of the problems that many orchestra websites have, such as the inability [...]

This guy has created a great hair-metal band rendition of the Pachelbel Canon for guitar and MIDI synth. I especially like the chorus-drenched guitar sound and this guy’s gold-plated guitar!

Anybody who hasn’t played around with Google Earth should download and install it–this program is going to change (and already is changing) the way we see our world and the way we learn about places, plan trips, teach geography, organize resources, and much more. I have written a couple of times in the [...]
Check out this adorable little kid playing the drums. He’s only four years old, and he can play quite well. Is it that some people have rhythm and some people don’t, or is it something that can be taught? Obviously some people (like this little guy) just have it.
