Madison Symphony

The Madison Symphony Orchestra will be holding the following auditions for the 2007-08:

The MSO is a professional per service orchestra, offering about 80 services a year. The pay for a section player for the 2007-08 season is $83.50 per rehearsal and $94.75 per performance roughly $8,200 for the season.

Louisville Orchestra

Salary/Benefits – 2007-2008 season salary is $911.03 per week. Benefits include instrument, life, and major medical insurance, two weeks vacation, & pension.
General Information – The 2007-2008 season is 36 weeks, beginning June 1, 2007. The 2007-2008 season is 35 weeks, beginning June 1, 2007. A refundable $50 deposit will be required from those musicians invited to audition. Repertoire and other information will not be given out over the phone, but is available on our website. If a position is offered to a current orchestra member, the resulting vacancy may be offered to the runner-up. All deadlines in the process are final.
