I’ve blogged before about Vito Liuzzi’s performance of the Divertimento Concertante by Nino Rota, posting video of the first two sections in earlier blog posts (that annoying 10 minute limit on YouTube videos really gets in the way with classical music–one of the reasons that I use blip.tv for the podcast video material). This video covers the rest of the piece and also includes the Bottesini Tarantella.
Check out the previous clips here.

Dear “magic” Jason,
The Bass Gang demo quartett in Japan is now avaible on YouTube here:
http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=cB-Es9GaVs0
It’s incredible what the are able to play with four double basses. You, Jason, are a journalist like me. Do you think we can call this quartett as a “Classical Rock DB Quartett” in the history of our instrument?
With great esteem
Vito Liuzzi (Italy)
