I definitely identify with Laurel and Hardy in this sketch, playing my bass in the snow with little attention from people passing by, goofing around while simultaneously miserable in the winter weather. Add in a long drive to this ‘gig’ and you’ve captured my life to a T.

However, there is another L+H film, (can’t remember the title) where they are on a Safari in Africa, and Stanley uses a bass to soothe a savage beast. He plays glissandos up and down the E string and a lion comes a runnin’.
If anyone can recall the name of this little gem, it would greatly be appreciated.
